We believe in the Holy Bible as the only authority for faith and godliness; it is the inspired and inerrant word of God.
We believe in the triune God - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is God in human form. Born of the virgin and completely sinless, His sacrificial death is our only way for salvation from sin.
We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and is proved through Christ's physical resurrection to eternal life.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells us and leads us toward Christ-likeness.
We believe in the actual resurrection of the saved and the lost and in the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
Authority
The Holy Scriptures (66 canonized books of the Old and New Testaments) are our only authority and standard for life and practice. This authority of the Written Word is based upon the Living Word - the incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ verified by His resurrection from the dead. The complete Bible is necessary to fully define our faith and practice.
Basic Doctrine
The BibleWe believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative, and relevant Word of God. It has the answers to everything we need for life and godliness.
We believe that there is one God, eternally co-existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal and bodily return in power and glory.
We believe that salvation from sin, judgment and eternal punishment is by grace through faith, and therefore, all those who place their trust in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross receive the irrevocable gift of eternal life.
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the unbeliever of his need to trust in Christ and that He indwells every believer from the moment of salvation, enabling him to pursue holiness.
We believe every believer is called to submit to the indwelling and empowering Holy Spirit to live a transformed life separated from sin. This is a constant choice of the believer to die to self and live to God with the goal of Christ-likeness.
We believe God created our universe out of nothing in six 24-hour days. We believe in the literal correctness of the Biblical time frame, an actual Garden of Eden and an actual Adam and Eve who committed the initial act of sin and caused the fall of man, a curse under which humanity still abides.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to eternal life with God and those who are lost to judgment, conscious torment, and separation from God for all eternity in hell.
We believe that all who are called to salvation and redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ are placed into the universal Church, the body of Christ. We believe that God commands believers to gather together into local assemblies for fellowship, edification, and evangelism.
We believe that marriage is a divine institution, designed by God to be the holy union of one man and one woman, joined as one flesh in a lifelong covenant of sacrifice and submission. This union is an earthly illustration of the relationship between Jesus Christ and his church.
We believe in the imminent, personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ to claim His church. We believe in a literal tribulation period and in a literal earthly kingdom that Christ will rule for 1000 years.
We believe that there are two ordinances commanded by God for believers after they accept Christ as Savior - Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These ordinances are of themselves without merit, but provide an expression of faith regarding the believer’s identification and fellowship with Christ.
